Job description:
Account Manager / Sales Executive , the role is both office based sales and account management and Field based Sales, approx 70 ; 30 split.
Your role will be to effectively manage both new and existing accounts , via a mixture of Field Sales , Telesales and Account management , with the aim of achieving profitable sales growth.
Key responsibilities for this role will include;
-New Business development via cold calling and other lead generation activities.
- Outbound telesales to new business customers .
- Appointment making and lead generation .
- Field sales visits to customers
-Account Management to include processing consignments , track and chase deliveries , and other Logistic administrative duties
- Customer service
- Account Development
- Your role will be to provide excellent customer service and account management.
-Achieve profitable growth.
Main Responsibilities:
Consistently grow the revenue and achieve the targets
Achieve sales productivity and revenue targets
Maximise all revenue opportunities from existing customers by proactively pursuing undeveloped areas.
Generate new prospect leads and new accounts over the telephone and face-to-face.
Generate new prospect leads for the Sales and Marketing system using external sources.
Process consignments and enter telesales information on to the Sales and Marketing system.
Monitor consignments ensuring that the highest levels of service are carried out at every stage.
Provide customers with accurate and cost effective quotations.
Ensure all relevant sales and purchase ledger invoices are processed on time.
Prepare weekly/monthly figures of sales activity as instructed by the Branch Manager.
Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.
Key Skills / Experience;
You will have previous Sales and Telesales experience and be capable of cold calling and making appointments.

- - Strong administrative skills and organisational skills.
